A creation should born with two basic parameters before crossing the border of the paper; emotion and function. This cocktail will be our best kept secret to enjoy the surrounding environment, immersed in a multisensory experience where the boundaries between reality and unreality seem blurred together.
Each day we participate in an evolution in which innovation seems to be the main rule. There is a constant transformation of products in both the material and immaterial, ceasing to be austere creations that years ago were limited to merely fulfill its role as quiet as possible and which now give way to an army of new objects born with DNA's very different to the known so far. Thanks to technology, innovation and a society increasingly aware of the importance and influence that design carries in our lives, moving to a new lifestyle and culture is possible.
The user is no longer content with giving a particular use to a certain product or stay in a certain way, but feels the need to interact with the object or environment around. We feel special by wearing a piece of clothing and feel identified with a trend of philosophy according to our instincts. We find that this complicity makes us worship an object, a building or an interior. We need to feel identified with our objects so that they belong to us.
The design is experiencing a new era in which the creations should be obliged to transmit and communicate with the users sharing an emotional message. There is a nexus which could be called 'feedback' between user-product. The designer should exercise the role of transmitter of feelings and emotions by making public an emotional language, creating a lasting link between creation and user.
It's selfish to think of property as simple inert objects. All creation has a story and a feeling behind. All creation is a mirror where we can feel reflected either by using, wearing or dwelling on it. Projecting means more than creating, rather than meeting a number of objectives and needs, it means a form of expression and awareness of our particular view of the world around us.
Since I was a child I have felt an special attraction to these machines with two and four wheels which made people crazy.
When I was fifteen I started drawing my firsts sketches.
When I finished my artistic studies, I took up another different field: Industrial design. I loved it.
I studied industrial design at Llotja school in Barcelona. I discovered how from a sketch an object was born. How from a dream a new reality was born. I learned the methodology. I got the idea and started to build my own opinion. I started to admire those magicians who gave life to their ideas.
I enlarged my knowledge of 3D modelling, delineation, graphic, video editing and photo retouching programmes.
I consider myself an enthusiast of creativity. My passion for product design goes farther and I try to explore together new disciplines.
